Parboiling is a treatment process, as name suggests it provides Partial boiling to grains.
APIT’s Parboiling process consists of 4 stages.
APIT’s Pre-Hydration Tank, also known as the Pre-Steaming Tank, utilizes low-pressure steam to hydrate the paddy before it enters the actual hydration stage. This innovative process is designed to optimize the paddy's properties and enhance its overall quality during the milling process.
The Pre-Hydration process provided by APIT ensures:
With a capacity range of 0.5 to 1 ton, our Pre-Hydration Tank is a highly efficient solution that streamlines the paddy soaking process, reduces processing time, and enhances rice quality. It’s an essential component for optimizing production in rice milling operations.
APIT’s Advanced Paddy Hydration and Soaking System is expertly designed to optimize the soaking process, ensuring that paddy absorbs the perfect amount of moisture to preserve its essential nutrients. This state-of-the- art system features specialized hydration/soaking tanks that supply either hot or cold water, tailored to customer specifications. With precise control over soaking time and temperature, the system guarantees the desired color and quality of the final rice. This precision process promotes the absorption of water-soluble nutrients, preserving the paddy’s vital vitamins and minerals.
Improper soaking conditions—such as incorrect time or temperature—can lead to the loss of valuable water- soluble nutrients. Our system mitigates this risk by utilizing optimized treatment parameters, enhancing both the nutritional value and appearance of the rice.
Once the paddy reaches its ideal hydration level, the soaking process is halted, and excess water is efficiently drained, ensuring a seamless process flow. The result is high-quality, nutrient-rich rice that meets the specific requirements of every customer.Hot Water Tank:
APIT’s Automated Hot Water Soaking and Hydration Tanks are designed to deliver hot water at the precise temperature required for optimal paddy soaking and hydration. The fully automated system adjusts the water temperature based on the paddy variety, process parameters, and intelligent recipe management, ensuring consistent results. The controlled water temperature is crucial for achieving the desired color and quality of the final rice, playing a pivotal role in the milling process. With advanced automation and precise temperature regulation, these tanks help maintain the ideal conditions for each batch, guaranteeing superior rice quality with every cycle.
Capacity: 15 – 30 kLThe hydrated paddy, which contains water-soluble nutrients, is exposed to steam at medium pressure. Under this steam pressure, the water-soluble nutrients present on the outer surface of the grain are absorbed into the inner portion. This process leads to the gelatinization of the grain, where the starches within the grain undergo a transformation, improving the texture and quality of the rice.
A suitable dryer, selected based on plant capacity and specific process requirements, will be installed to effectively manage moisture levels and ensure quality drying.
