Intake pits

Intake pits are essential for receiving grain from trucks, hopper wagons and transport vehicles. The intake pits consist of a bunker and an upper horizontal grid. Under the hopper is a receiving conveyor, which transports grain from the bunker to the specified location. With the ever-increasing outputs of modern day combine harvesters, larger trailers and lorries, it is important to have a fast and efficient intake system to avoid a ‘bottle neck’ on any farm or commercial plant. A good intake of raw materials can save a lot of time and costs.

PRE-CLEANING PROCESSING

Cleaning of grains has always been an integral part of rice mill. When paddy comes to the mill from the fields, it contains lots of foreign materials, such as weed seeds, soil, stones, rope, hemp, straw and other non-grain materials etc. Pre-cleaning process removes the foreign materials from grain/raw paddy.
The machine is designed to remove all the impurities and increase the overall quality and storability of processed rice.

Rough Star

A rough cleaner in paddy processing is a machine used to remove large impurities like straw, stones, sticks, and other debris from harvested paddy before further processing stages. It plays an essential role in ensuring the quality of the paddy by eliminating contaminants that could interfere with subsequent operations like hulling and milling.

Destoner

Destoner is a machine specifically designed to minimize power consumption and occupy mill space. This is one of the robust yet simplified forms of a machine which performs as both a Pre-cleaner and a Vibro Paddy cleaner. This removes Stones, Straws, Mud balls, Fine Soil and dust. With low power consumption.

HARVEST DRYING

The drying process involves heat and mass transfer between grains and drying air. LSU dryers are developed for paddy to ensure proper mixing of paddy & dry air to grain contact.

It is a continuous mixing type of dryer. The drier consists of a rectangular chambers, a holding bin, blower with duct, grain discharging mechanism, air heating system and a recirculation system.
The capacity of the drier varies based the variety and between the rice mills.

Recommended air flow rate is 60-70 m3/min/tonne. Air temperature are 60 & 85°C for raw & parboiled paddy. And Uniformly dried product can be obtained.
Batch-Wise Drying Systems
