Length grader

The APIT Length Grader uses an indented cylinder to separate one or two kinds of broken or shorter grains from whole grain by length. Length graders are indispensable for producing high quality products in rice milling and seed cleaning plants, since the broken or shorter grains that are more than half the length of whole grain are difficult to separate through sieving or thickness / width grading.

The grains which are longer in length drop out of the indents before they reach the catch trough. The grains which remain in the indent are thrown into the catch trough.

Thickness Grader

The APIT Thickness Grader is used to separate Brown rice and Polished rice grains based in thickness.
The material is processed through revolving cylindrical screens that separate ad mixture of oversized or undersized grains. These can also remove immature or broken grains from the input grain and can be installed with a variable speed drive to customize the input speed.

Compact Design

The tiny body contains six octagonal screens. Each screen is formed of corrugated steel plate with slots at regular intervals, and it is lightweight. A single operator may rapidly and conveniently switch between screen sizes.

Easy Maintenance

An anti-clogging mechanism is used to ensure that the screen slots remain clean at all times. It includes a dust suction port to remove inhaled dust and sand. A removable bottom hopper allows for simple maintenance.

Screen Variation

Brown rice separation uses 12 different screen slot widths, ranging from 1.10mm to 1.95mm. Heat-treated toughened screens are also available for use in paddy and wheat. Screens with 16 slot widths are offered, ranging from 1.60mm to 3.00mm.

Weil-designed Transmission

A geared motor combined with a chain drive gearbox reduces vibration and transmission losses due to slippage.

Colour sorter

A rice color sorter machine is a device used in the rice processing industry to sort rice grains based on their color. This procedure aids in removing discolored or defective grains, enhancing the overall quality of the rice.

Optical Sensors: High-resolution cameras and optical sensors take photographs of rice grains. These sensors can detect color fluctuations.

Advanced algorithms evaluate photos to identify high-quality grains and those with faults or discolorations.

Ejection System

Air jets or mechanical paddles are used to remove faulty grains from rice. This is often accomplished using air jets or mechanical paddles to remove the undesirable grains.

Collection

The sorted rice is divided into bins or chutes to separate the good quality rice from the rejected grains.
